Sampath Events (Pvt) Ltd ("Sampath Events", "we", "us") is an event management and equipment rental company based at No. 142, Kandy Road, Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. We are the controller of any personal information you provide through this website.

This website has no user accounts, no database and no server-side form handler. We do not collect anything in the background as you browse.

Information reaches us only when you choose to send it: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, event date, venue or city, guest count, and whatever you write in the message field. The enquiry forms on this site assemble that text and hand it to WhatsApp — the message is not stored on this website or transmitted to any server of ours before you press send in WhatsApp.

If you call or email us instead, we hold whatever you provide in that conversation.

Solely to respond to your enquiry: preparing quotations, checking equipment availability, scheduling delivery and setup, and coordinating your event. This is processing necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and to perform that contract.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build marketing profiles.

WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) carries the messages you send us and processes them under its own privacy terms. Message content is end-to-end encrypted in transit between you and us.

This site embeds a Google Maps frame on the contact page. Loading that page causes your browser to contact Google, which may set cookies and receive your IP address under Google's privacy policy. No other third-party tracking, analytics or advertising scripts run on this site.

Where we engage subcontractors for a specific event, they receive only the operational detail needed to deliver it — typically a venue, a date and an access time.

Enquiries that do not become bookings are retained only as long as the conversation remains commercially relevant, normally no more than 24 months.

Records relating to confirmed bookings are kept for as long as required for contractual, accounting and tax purposes under Sri Lankan law.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the email address above and we will respond within a reasonable period.

You can stop sharing information with us at any time simply by not sending further messages; there is no subscription or account to cancel.

This website is aimed at people arranging events and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If this policy changes materially, the revised version will be published on this page with a new revision date. Please check back before sending sensitive information.
