Everything people ask us before booking

Book one to three weeks ahead for a standard rental or setup, and one to three months ahead for weddings and corporate year-end events. Sri Lanka's peak wedding months — May, August and December to January — sell out our Tiffany chair and marquee stock first, so those dates need the longest lead time. Short-notice requests are still worth sending: we can often cover a weekend event booked on the preceding Tuesday.

Send us your event date, venue or city, approximate guest count and what you need, and we return an itemised quotation — usually the same working day. Pricing depends on quantities, distance from Colombo, setup complexity and how long equipment is on site, so we quote per event rather than publishing a fixed price list.

Yes. A date is only reserved once an agreed advance deposit is received; until then the equipment remains available to other clients. Quotations are held for 14 days from the date of issue.

Yes, within reason. Guest numbers routinely move, so we confirm final counts closer to the date. Increases depend on remaining stock for that weekend, which is another reason to book early in peak season.

We deliver island-wide from our base in Kelaniya, Western Province. We work regularly in Colombo, Gampaha, Kelaniya, Negombo, Kandy, Galle and travel to every other district. Transport, setup and breakdown are handled by our own crews rather than subcontracted, and travel is included in the quotation rather than added afterwards.

Every booking includes delivery, placement to your floor plan, and post-event collection. Our crew positions chairs, tables, canopies and staging according to the agreed layout, so nothing arrives as a stack of equipment for you to arrange.

Setup is scheduled to finish hours before your first guest arrives, with the exact rigging window agreed in advance based on venue access. Large marquee and stage builds usually begin the day before.

Yes. We work routinely with hotel banqueting teams as well as private estates, beach lawns, gardens and homes. Where a venue has its own access rules or preferred rigging times, we coordinate directly with their operations team.

Our marquees use 100% waterproof heavy-gauge PVC membrane on galvanised steel frames, anchored with weighted ballast rather than pegs alone, so they are built for tropical downpours and coastal wind. For outdoor bookings we plan a wet-weather layout alongside the main layout, so guests, catering and power can be moved under cover without improvising on the day.

Our seating inventory covers intimate gatherings of around 50 guests up to receptions of 1,000 or more. Gold, white, silver and clear Tiffany (Chiavari) chairs are available with padded cushions, and every chair is cleaned and inspected before dispatch.

Yes. Our modular stage decks use adjustable, levelling legs, so we can build a flat, stable platform over beach sand, lawn, slopes or existing paving. Decks are carpeted, skirted and fitted with steps as standard.

Yes, we produce the printed graphics as well as the structures. Media walls use wrinkle-free tension fabric or anti-glare matte vinyl specifically so that press and guest photography comes out clean, without hotspots from venue lighting.

Our outdoor flag poles sit in heavy concrete ballast bases weighing 30–60kg rather than lightweight cross feet, which is what keeps them upright in exposed coastal and open-ground locations such as beachfronts and sports grounds.

It means the design, the equipment, the production and the on-site management all come from one company. Instead of hiring a chair supplier, a canopy contractor, a lighting crew and a printer separately, you deal with a single team, a single schedule and a single point of accountability if something needs to change.

Yes. Many clients hire chairs, tables, canopies or staging on their own, with delivery and setup included, and manage the event themselves. Full coordination is an option, not a requirement.

Yes. We build and style Poruwa settings for traditional Sinhala weddings, including floral work, punkalas, oil lamps and stage lighting, and we also produce Western-format and fusion receptions.

No. Catering is not one of our services. We supply the environment the catering runs in — buffet and banquet tables, cocktail high-tops, linens, canopy cover and lighting — and coordinate layout and access with your caterer.
